Goal – To ensure messages are being delivered and received in a positive compassionate way.
How – Lead manager is to use LA PCA form to follow patient from front desk all the way through to check out. Use the form to rank performance taking notes that can be reviewed in staff meeting. Lead is not to ever interrupt or offer guidance in the patient’s presence. (Try to touch base with the specific assistant to give immediate feedback. However, don’t miss handoffs, etc.)
Why – Assistants want to do things right. When surveyed, employees reported the “most” important thing at work was to be appreciated. To appreciate properly, we must help them become their best and recognize it along the way.
Expected Results – Happy, compliant patients. Increased revenue in all departments.
